Properties: Greyish white or yellowish granules with a slight odor, non-toxic. Specific gravity: 1.31-1.34. Melting point: over 96℃. Soluble in benzene, methylbenzene, chloroform, carbon disulfide, carbon tetrachloride, methylene chloride, acetone and ethyl acetate. Not easily soluble in ethyl alcohol. Insoluble in water, dilute acid, dilute alkali and gasoline.
Application: CBS (CZ) is an accelerator with high activity, high anti-scorching quality, processes safely and has a short cure time. Its activity can be reinforced by thiuram and dithiocarbamate type alkaline accelerators. Mainly used to manufacture tires, rubber shoes, rubber tubes, cables and other technical rubber goods.

Storage: Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place. The recommended maximum storage life is 18 months when stored under normal conditions.
